What recovery looks like

Swelling is expected after Kybella® and can be significant, especially after the first session. It usually peaks in the first few days and improves over one to two weeks. Bruising, tenderness, numbness, firmness and temporary lumps can also occur. Plan treatment at least two weeks before any big event, and consider a scarf or turtleneck if you'd like to keep swelling private.

When you'll see results

Visible improvement typically appears within 30 to 60 days after each session as your body clears the treated fat.
