Yes, HALO® is designed to be safe and effective for all skin types, but a consultation is recommended to determine suitability.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 4 weeks before treatment, and stop retinoids and other skin-sensitizing products 3 to 5 days ahead. Tell your provider about any active skin infections or medical conditions. A topical numbing cream is applied first, and treatment typically takes 30 to 60 minutes.
Keep skin clean, apply an approved moisturizer and broad-spectrum SPF, and let skin peel on its own. During early healing, avoid picking, retinoids, exfoliating acids and scrubs, direct sun, hot tubs, pools, saunas and strenuous exercise.
