How to get ready

Pre-Treatment Care:

Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 4 weeks prior to treatment.
Discontinue use of retinoids and other skin-sensitizing agents 3-5 days before the procedure.
Inform your provider of any active skin infections or medical conditions.

During the Treatment:

A topical anesthetic will be applied to the treatment area to enhance comfort.
Protective eyewear will be provided to shield your eyes from the laser.
The procedure typically lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the treatment area.

Post-Treatment Care:

Apply a gentle moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen daily.
Avoid direct sun exposure and strenuous activities for at least 24 hours post-treatment.
Do not pick or peel the skin; allow it to heal naturally.
Follow any additional aftercare instructions provided by your skincare professional.

WHAT TO EXPECT

FIRST 24-48 HRS

Keep skin clean
Apply approved moisturizer
Apply broad spectrum SPF
Avoid strenuous exercise
Avoid direct sun and excessive heat

Cleanse gently
Keep skin moisturized
Protect treated skin from sunlight
Allow skin to exfoliate naturally
Sleep with your head elevated if swelling occurs

AVOID

Picking or peeling
Retinoids
Exfoliating acids and scrubs
Direct sun exposure
Hot tubs, pools, saunas, and excessive heat during early healing

Days 1 to 2: Redness, warmth, and swelling

Days 2 to 5: Bronzing and rough texture can develop
