Pause blood-thinning medications and supplements (1 week prior): Unless your doctor has prescribed them, skip over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen, aspirin, or naproxen, as well as supplements such as fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, and St. John's Wort. Never stop a prescribed blood thinner or daily aspirin without asking the doctor who prescribed it. These increase your risk of post-injection bruising and swelling.
Avoid Alcohol and Intense Heat (24–48 Hours Prior): Refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages and limit exposure to saunas, hot tubs, or heavy sun, as these dilate blood vessels and elevate the chance of bruising.
Arrive with bare, clean skin: Skip makeup, heavy moisturizers, and active skincare ingredients (like retinoids, AHAs, or BHAs) on the day of your appointment to keep the micro-injection sites sterile and reduce skin irritation.

While SKINVIVE™ contains hyaluronic acid, similar to fillers, it is primarily used to improve skin texture and hydration rather than to add volume, making it distinct from traditional fillers.
SKINVIVE™ offers minimal downtime, allowing most individuals to return to their daily activities almost immediately after the procedure.
The injection process itself takes about 15 minutes, excluding consultation and evaluation time.
For optimal results, treatment effects last up to 6 months, with a follow-up session potentially needed to maintain the desired aesthetic effect. Regular check-ups every 6 months are recommended to assess if further treatment is necessary.
For about a week before, skip blood thinners such as ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen, fish oil and vitamin E if your healthcare provider approves, and avoid alcohol, saunas, hot tubs and heavy sun for 24 to 48 hours. Arrive with bare, clean skin, without retinoids or exfoliating acids that day.
Keep skin clean and avoid touching or rubbing the injection sites. For 24 hours, avoid strenuous exercise and excess heat, and skip aggressive facial massage or skin treatments until your injector clears you. Mild swelling, redness, bruising or small bumps can occur and usually settle quickly.
