ADVATx laser for clearer skin

ADVATx Laser: Skin Rejuvenation With Little to No Downtime

ADVATx is a medical solid-state laser that uses two wavelengths, 589 nm and 1319 nm, to treat redness, acne, texture and signs of aging, usually with no numbing and little to no downtime. It is one of the most versatile lasers we offer at Allied Medical Aesthetics in Westminster.

How ADVATx works

  • 589 nm (yellow light): targets redness and visible blood vessels, and is used for vascular concerns.
  • 1319 nm: a non-ablative wavelength that gently heats deeper layers to stimulate collagen and smooth texture.

Your provider can use one wavelength or combine both, which means one device can address many concerns without needing a different machine for each.

What ADVATx can treat

  • Redness, flushing and rosacea-related redness
  • Active acne and post-acne redness
  • Acne scars and uneven texture
  • Fine lines and early signs of aging
  • Enlarged pores and dull skin

What treatment feels like

Most clients find ADVATx comfortable without numbing cream. Treatments are quick, and you can usually return to your day right away.

Downtime and aftercare

ADVATx typically involves little to no downtime. Mild redness, warmth or temporary sensitivity can occur and usually fade within hours. Use gentle skin care and daily SPF, and avoid heavy sun exposure while your skin recovers.

How many treatments will I need?

Most concerns improve best with a series of treatments spaced a few weeks apart. Your provider will create a plan based on what you are treating.

ADVATx vs. other lasers

If you want a bigger resurfacing result and can plan for downtime, HALO® may be a better fit. For brown spots, BBL® is often the first choice. ADVATx stands out for redness and acne with almost no recovery. Compare options in our MOXI® vs. HALO® guide.
